I have been trying to describe feelings lately. This is one that i would say people can understand if you have suffered from depression. I am trying to describe that feeling that you get when you have been 'in the depths of depression' for months and you can't really differentiate between negative feelings, but every now and again you get this weird feeling: it shocked me the first time it happened. Then you try to analyse it and find out when it happens and you slowly begin to realize what that feeling is: it is happiness.

I love using imagery when writing to try get a point across. At times I don't feel like there is a very dark side to me and it does get to me at times. That said I do pride myself of my caring nature and loyalty. This poem shows how I feel at times.
