Untitled Writing

My memory can’t last through the ages

I attempt to be strong, calm, have patience without rages

Time takes my presence, wipes my mark off the plate

Replaced I become, so easily it must be fate

I try to be strong, accept that truth without disdain

But more often than not, I just get pain

I wish to be hero, I aspire to be knight

I carry the burden, the guilt, the weight of every plight

Each wipe of fate leaves my heart scarred

And makes the next bond so much more hard

Deep bonds lay all over this road a plenty

And each bond I have, I must break gently

I can be strong, and just understand

Forgiveness is something grand

A grand elusive unicorn

Ready I am to be reborn

Into a form made of flesh and bone

That’s just not so alone
