statutory one
where did you go to my lovely
when they sounded the
two minute warning
this i asked you the morning
following the exodus
you replied vacantly
i was washed in the dirty water
and told to take a sip of this
i can still smell the sweetness
of liquor in his sweat and
everywhere his touch landed
burns like the devil's breath
why did you go there my sweetness
as if there was no time left
exactly you said
when every minute seems an eternity
and every hour merely a moment
yet i lost my favorite sweater
and my childhood didn't wait
for the morning
this is it the end of the joke
but i see that nobody's laughing
