Moonlit Painting
If I could paint a picture of you I would
For a man your perfection is beyond amazing
From the glow of your soft skin in the moonlight
To the placement of your hands
It's all in just a glimmer;
The way you caught my eye

Even for me, be it a short one
The rest of my life seems like a really long time
With you, forever is just another day
To be taken lightly
But in this moonlight, this moment
You're all mine.

I couldn't say goodnight to you
For the moonlight caught my eyes
And I drifted away
Watching the stillness
In your body transform itself
To just a glimmer of hopefulness
To a painting in the moonlight
The way you caught my eye.

Wonderful sentiment. Such a lucky man is he to be thought of in such high regards. Another moonlight moment to treasure.
