Couplet

The window passed by

reflects only their outward appearances

style of dress

wind-blown hair

Yet not the essence

heart and depth

welcoming the years that have crept

Lovers change

sensations mingle

voices tend to harmonize

and octaves

with age blend

Two become one

in mind and spirit

With time

two become more

as their love matures

they define a couplet
