To have a Rose

Here is a secret garden hidden beneath the bushes. The Rose pedals surrounded by thorns and leaves have a calming sense of wind blowing beneath my ears. Walking closer and closer, I could see that they are shining bright and red ready to be picked and cherish. I admire the roses so much that they seem to blossums in every way. The rained seems to brighten their day as every drop of water spills their body, a new life has approach. Whether they rise or fall it seems that their beauty never fazed. Even when the roses quiver and drops we appreciate the beauty of their love. But as the roses sits and ponder on how we should held them in our hands, in every step of the way, are we ready to show them our gratitude with kindness and care. Who knows we may not share our sympathy for the roses, or even crossed our minds. But yet as we sit there staring helplessly we cannot help  but  admire  their beautiful glistening colors and smells. As I slowly stand and up and held a rose in my palms I truly wish I could have one of my own.

Rudolf Frimel, in the Operetta, "The Vagbon King," had a song called "only a Rose." The ending line in the song, "I'll bring along, a smile or a song, for anyone. But only a Rose for you." What can I say, I'm a romantic.!
