Forbidden in love from a bar
I saw you leave and what a relief
I saw you look my way
I saw you admire me with those beautiful blue grey eyes
You stand there and admire my smile, my quirky little behaviors and comments
You stand there in all awe of who I am
I see you look at me with desire
I see you look at me in secret when you don't think I see
I saw you leave and I was relieved
You have a power over me I can not escape
When we shared that moment
What beautiful art we made
We painted a story in my book of art
Your kiss sunk into me
Your embrace sent shivers and goose bumps rippling over my body
Pulses of pleasure we shared.
After that day
It was over
All my dreams and fantasies
It was the end
And yet you surprise me with those glances
With your hellos
With the times you gently brush your hand over mine
As a symbol
Our story will live
WE will forever be one
Always together
Only in my dreams with your looks and stares
and my desire
I see you leave and I feel a sense of relief
no more trying to hide...All my fears diminish as you leave
I wish you would still sit behind that bar and look at me
You left..and we are through
The End

A quirky blend. I like it. It captures the out-of-time feeling of being in love.
