The Disciple’s Prayer
The Disciple’s Prayer

O' Thou great Jehovah God,
and lover of my soul.

My heart, my life I give to thee,
for thee to take control.

And whatever for me thy pleasure seeks,
not just in part, but the whole.

Let thy will be worked full out,
for making me like Jesus is your goal.

With Christ in me, I can clearly see,
and all fear has passed away.

And though I stand on Earth's dark shore,
I live in endless day.
