The Proposal

The Proposal

The midnight sky shines so bright that it lights up the beach at night. When everything is dark and so real, and the waters gently rushing yet standing still. He takes my hand in his and bows to his knees, and just at the moment he asked me to marry him for this is his plea. I shake my head yes and say to him I love you. He then takes me in his arms and tells me he loves me too.

Just at the right moment I look into his eyes and what do I see to my surprise but a twinkle of stars shinning as bright as can be. What a jewel I have found and what beauty I see. He takes my hand and puts on my finger a ring, I know at this moment he would take me under his wing. We hugged and we kissed under the stars for what seemed like eternity. I could never get enough of my baby’s hugs and kisses. What a perfect pair we are together. The pastor said “what god has put together let no man put asunder”. We have a fairy tale life with the white picket fence and all. To God we give all our thanks for if it wasn’t for him we both would not be here.
