A Walk Down Memory Lane
for some reason, today i was thinking about a boy i used to know. this boy was special because he was the first to hold my hand. hold my hand as in a prelude to kissing, not arm wrestling. i realize that to many girls out there, this is rather blawzay (sp?) because from what i understand, a virgin today is described as an unpopular third grader. but to me, at that time in my life, this was really special.

we were walking down the street side by side. his hand brushed against mine several times. i knew he was working up the nerve to hold my hand. in my mind i was cheering for him because this was something i really wanted. a boy holding my hand was perhaps the ending of my childhood and the first step into womanhood. finally he took the plunge and latched onto my hand. grabbed comes to mind. then he relaxed and held me gently.

i relished every moment. my head was in the clouds. a boy was holding my hand. every so often this experience crosses my mind. a uforic (again sp?) sensation comes over me. a flood of emotions starts at one end of me and gently passes over my entire body. i have to take several deep breaths. do any of you experience the same things? i'd sure like to hear about it.

To a country girl, hand holding was hot. Now later on...

I like hand holding but the kiss is what I anticipate more.
