White
The blanket that covers the earth
From the time mary gave birth
Been bringing whiteness to this world
The beautiful scene
So peaceful if you no what i mean
comes from the sky
like a never ending supply
so peaceful it catches your eyes
soft and cold
starts slow then look as it unfolds
icicles so crystal clear
as you seem to drift away and disappear
what a beautiful sight
so white
with the darkest of the night
still shinning so bright
it surely is such a delight
perfect snow for the girls and boys
sledding down the hills playing with there toys
so much you can do with the snow on the floor
So beautiful we cant help but ask for more
opens my eyes as i cant help but adore

I usually dislike poems about winter because they're so common and writers always seem to use the same descriptions, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. The simple way you present your thoughts and feelings is extremely refreshing.

the shape of this work is pristine and just lovely. the clarity and mood is perfect. at first i thought the rhyme detracted and made it singsongy, but really it adds a whispy surreal feel to this. The words chosen are very good and the flow is outstanding. I really like this. Alot different themes than some of your other poems/stories. I remember "killer", such a contrast. Delightful poem and insightful.

Wow, that's wonderful. I was born in the winter, and while most at my home don't appreciate it as I do, you certainly capture the respect and love I feel for this serene beauty.
