The death of a woman

She stared at the wooden beam
The wood that was once a tree
A tailless lizard came from
Behind the wooden beam.
kitta kitta kitta said the lizard
She who had become ‘it’ stared
Unremittingly at the wooden beam
At the beam that was once a tree
The beam looked at the lizard
The continuum flowed endlessly .

Something so simple yet has so much behind it. And you bought that to our attention nicely.

Love the flow of this piece and the personification.

Poetry based upon actual experiences, not one thought up in the intellectual aridness of a pseudo-thinker. Words as they mean in the specific context of recollected thought or image , not meaning several things at a time but that which re-creates an aura or a haze of an earlier experience.
