Midnight
I woke up at midnight. It had been a long day; I was tired and didn’t know how I was going to go on. An hour felt like eternity, every minute felt like a day, each second felt like an hour. I didn’t know where to turn, who to call, how to pray. The sun was shining so bright and everything around me was moving so fast. But all I seemed to find was the shade. Every inch of my body felt pain, but I was determined to go on. I was determined to be strong. Then I thought, I had just been walking around endlessly, I had given up, I had forgotten where my strength came from; I had forgotten who I was. Night fell, then I fell, I fell down on my knees and stayed there until my help came, until my strength was regain, until I felt no pain. I woke up at midnight.
