Mr. Right
So you primp and you curl
Brushes and mirrors and body sprays
Short skirt or jeans?
Slacks or a dress?
Oh you want to look your very best
Out there with your best face forward
Had your nails and hair done
And all ready for anything the world can give
Did I shave my legs? OH lord is this it?
Going out again with another man
One after another parade thru life
Short ones and tall ones
Thin, average or "a few extra pounds"
Wanting a Mommy, a Lover, a Meal Ticket
Never know what's on their minds
Jaded and bitter and paranoid
Been taken advantage of too many times
Heart broke and mended a 1000 times
And they too feeling the ravages of life
Will I even recognize him if I run into him?
For in this life I may be blind to the sight
The sight of Mr. Right
