Crazy Day

Sometimes you don't know what to do
Where to turn or how to act
Just wondering what will happen next
How will it all interact?

Day by day you wander around
Aimlessly swaying never settling down
Down this path and then that one
Ducking for cover so you might not be found

Searching only to spoil your chances
Trying too hard to look all together
But everyone can see how frazzled
Broken and fragmented... you're not any better

As the sun sets on another day
And you try to pull the pieces back in and replay
What has happened to your whole life?
But your thoughts are all scattered into the night

Time will heal but you only keep waiting
Waiting and Waiting and nothing is changing
But God forces breath into your lungs everyday
So the sun rises on another crazy day

At the end of a crazy day, when you look back on it and start to wonder just how many more days like this you will have to endure. Thew way you tell the story and the feeling behind it add to the realism. I am sure all who have read this...myself included, can relate to this very well.
