Heaven on Earth(It Could Be)!

As I gazed up at the sky

Alone I sat and wondered why

How did it end up like this?

Could it be my addictions?

Not just my anxiety

Or my hate for most society

Or could it really be,

The lost insurgency?

One stirring thought

I cannot evade

Things the children are not taught

Silent secrets stowed away

Refresh the tree of liberty

Pray not for bloodshed

Replace your hate with chivalry

And work out all the defects

As the clouds rolled past

The vast blue plain

I had collapsed

With strange thoughts in my brain

Law was replaced

with moral obligation

Jails were now space

for true rehabilitation

I dreamt of a place

so perfect and blissful

I could almost taste

freedom so beautiful

It lives in our minds

It lives in me and you

It's a place we may never find

But I hope that we do
