I Still Believe
I still chase after rainbows,
Just to find my pot of gold.
I still stare into the night sky for a shooting star or two,
Just so I can wish for the dreams I dream to maybe come true.
I carry a rabbit’s foot in my pocket,
I have a horse shoe hanging above my front door,
And every time I in the cool spring grass I search for four leaf clovers because I can.
I still believe in the innocence in hoping,
Still have faith in brighter tomorrow just as much as before.
In a world gone crazy,
People think I’ve gone mad,
Because I still believe in everything that dreams are made of,
I still believe in fairy tales.
