Savor the Moment
Hurry quick before it's gone
Savor the moment
For it won't last long
Hold on tight
Don't relinquish your hold
For that one moment is fleeting
And will soon go
Once the moment passes
It's no longer gold
Don't want to let
It slip through my fingers
It's a moment that I always
Want to remember
Life is comprised of moments
Such as these
Can I hold on
A little longer please

Woops, left out a phrase. Count many a year OF STRIFE well lost. Elton

A wonderful piece of writing! It reminds me of something Sara Teasdale wrote: Spend all you have for loveliness. Buy it and never count the cost. For one white, singing hour of peace. Count many a year well lost. Elton
