Why do you point your finger?

Why do you point your finger?
Why do we blame each other

For the sins that we hide deep inside?

It’s killing me, eating slowly through

My pride, devastating my soul

But I will not point my finger!

The fault is not yours it is mine

Hypocrites, preaching Love and living Hate

Hypocrites, Listening and Nodding

Never taking the blame for your own sins

Hypocrites, that’s what I am

It’s killing me, eating slowly through

My pride, devastating my soul

But I will not point my finger!

The fault is not yours it is mine

Releasing the Chains that have bind me for so long

Confessing the sins that I was to blame

Lowering my finger and hoping all would do the same

For though the fault is all mine, He took the Blame

It killed him slowly, as he hung on that wood

His pride, was saving my soul

But I will not point my finger!

For all my faults is taken away

Why do you point your finger?

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

A Word from the Writer
Give me suggestions please, I need to polish this, i know it's not very good right now. It was sitting there and suddenly in five minutes I had this, maybe I should have planned it more carefully.
