Seasonal Thoughts
Silver bitten branches
Clashing in the wind
The Jangle of crystal
A note of sleepy yawns
Echoing throughout the barren land

Virgin world untouched
Beckons men toward her
Cries to be carrassed
Yet left unmarred by greedy hands
Her white gown gleaming in the sun
A shroud covering ripe life

Frozen movement lullabye quieted
Time paused and perserved
Straining against invisible barriers to be broken
Yearning to move past still death
To flow through the course sand and tumbled rocks
Vibrant song hidden within obaque mirrors

Crackling of merry warmth
Gluttonous and drunk
Needing, always needing more
Licking hot fingers which reach out
Eager to stroke away darkness' rough grasp
Destruction and renewal await

Distant shimmer, winking light
Silent shouts of joy
Brillant hope before tender eye
Belted jewels and white-blue sword
Trek the canvas of night
Foggy sigh of relief and pain resounds

Rounded hips and rounded lips
Bursting full of life
Mistletoe and holly woe singing of cheery strife
Gather all to make the evening bright
Cursed birth celebrated now
Heavy heart need not depart as day grows old
