Freedom from Pain

The depression and the pain, the pain.   It feels like there's no way out of this deep crevice of pain.  They say there's a God and that He's divine, He is my Lord, my God.

He will save me from myself.   How then can life be so precarious?  How can things change so easily?  Where is my God now when I am in so much pain and so alone?  Why does no one care?  Why is there only hopelessness and always the pain?

The end is upon me, here comes the bright white light and I am free, finally free.

 (100 Words)

**In no way do I feel this way and by the grace of God never have.  Someone very close to me committed suicide and I can only imagine this is how they felt.**

You articulated very well the sheer sense of hopelessness someone must be feeling to do such a thing. It is so sad that anyone has to experience such pain and heartache to be pushed to end their own life.

We will always have to face some sort of pain, rejection, failure, etc in our lives. But we can know that we are never always alone. Remember Christ felt these same feelings on the cross, but he stood firm.
