The Path
I've walked this path before;
I recognize the turns.
This time its different;
everything is misplaced.
Right should be left;
and left should be right.
I walk alone;
my companions have fallen.
There is no one to ask;
and none to give counsel.
Am I going the right way;
its my decision alone.
A fork in the road;
a turning point.
Which path to take;
which way to go.
Its important;
only I can decide.

So many forks in the road through life--even harder looking back on them years later---wondering...and although we may have all the moral support, opinion and advice in the world--it's always a lone decision. I like your poem very much.
