Lullaby of Grace

Chests rising slowly to fall again

Harmonic Birds overhead ruffle their feathers

on a mystical night of wonders

believers in true love move to a lullaby of grace

Some spinning slowly

while others sway solemnly

leaping, dipping, no utter of words

to disrupt such a moment would be absurd

No glass to clink, no juices to spill

if there was a will, the earth would stand still

the blossoms of spring, oh the joy that they bring

sweet elixir of love, the coo of a dove

Lions in the night, on the prowl in starlight

take moments to roar, shaking earth at its core

no reason to fight, we look to the sky and take flight

all are true to their word, now bury your sword

and listen to our lullaby of grace
