from death to love
I lie here in the darkness
no light or stars do I see
I feel the world slipping from my grasp
dark feelings creep into my mind
the coldness of death creeps across my skin
the fire inside is dimming

Suddenly a bright light sweeps across my sight
brighter than heavens fire
I cannot see for it is blinding
a shadow appears growing in shape
a hand stretches out and brushes against my face
warmth spreads from my cheek and spreads along my body
the fire inside burns brighter
for you have pulled me from the darkness

The breath of life you have imparted
fills my being with heavenly energy
I dance with you in the light
I feel the warmth of your embrace
for I am alive now that you have found me.

This is one that can be taken several ways. From the light of love, or even the light of God. Either one, I like you thoughts here.
