Procrastination

It is said that procrastination is the thief of eternallife, and I believe that time is its eternal companion.

It slips through our fingers like water when held for toolong.

Like the rivers it continues to flow, the ocean tidescontinue to surge, even the streams move on without turning back.

Such is time.

With time come the changes.

My skin no longer radiates with the spark of youth.

My hair has begun to whiten, losing its brightness andsheen.

However, I have come to realize that these things must be.

For these changes are our reminders.

They are our warning.

They are our beckon call.

We are being reminded that time is slipping through ourfingers.

Our time to prepare has nearly run out, for this life isjust a grain of sand, a drop of water, a moment in the grand scheme.

It is time to prepare for our eternal life and procrastinationis the thief.
