Vertigo

Dizzy, dizzy, dizzy me
Stand beside the falling tree

Grass comes up as I go down
Look at the clouds, back on the ground

The branch as vulture circles me
Equilibrium has been set free

With amazing speed, horizon shifts
Disconcertingly, the scene it drifts

Bobbles as the compass sphere
From antiquated dashboard gear

My hand feels solid anchor earth
Though sun in sky swings on a perch

I close my eyes so they won't dance
In sliding search to catch balance

My spinning world is soon to calm
So hold on tight 'til spell is gone

You have captured the essence of the spell eloquently. Love the reference in the fifth stanza. Nice job!

Synopsis
Vertigo and dizziness are symptoms of so many things. In my case, it is Meniere's Syndrome, but mine isn't so bad as other cases.
