Come Hither My Dear

Pieces, papers, torn apart

my mind inside is ripped in two

the tone of voice, that grips my heart and makes a early grave.

No two words are left unsaid, only emptiness is ever heard

raising voices echos on, nothing but dark and loneliness.

Come hither my dear, the door is open, you've been here before ,enjoy your stay.

The smell of pink carpet ,with tear mixed in

no one around to hear the call

failure looms, and is laid in hand

still loud echos keep calling me back.

Come hither my dear, the door is open, you've cried here before, why won't you stay.

The clock turns back and memories fly in

what said and done can never go

a bigger picture it always was, no regrets and not for show

A look in a mirror, eyes all red

confusion and heart ache are all you see

holding on tight, do not let go

And yet that voice is still calling for me

Come hither my dear, the door is open, you've gone down before, this time you'll stay.

Where is the light, the tunnel i've seen

the ladder in which I climbed before

the arms of my past pulling me in

shaking and twisting, darkness appears

Turning and looking, not knowing ahead

a safety line so cautiously placed

this time, my time, its my voice to echo back

Screw you my dear, I wont let go, my door is closed and never will you stay...
