Blessed Be God

Psalm 66: 18-20 KJV

If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me.

But verily God hath heard me;

He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away from my prayer,

nor His mercy from me.

Amen!

Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness." God's wrath is not against men but it is against our wickedness, because it suppresses the truth. Jesus said he is the way the Truth and the life, therefore our wickedness supresses God's hand. Or sin also suppresses our true selves, who we were made to be. It grabs hold of us and forces us to dance a dance we wish not to dance, molding us into someone we never wanted to be. It is crazy how the smallest sin can cause such a great divid. The first sentence on Psalms 66:18 and Romans 1:18 both make me think, does God remove himself from us when we sin, or do we move away from him? We all like sheep have gone astray. At least this is how I veiw it.
