AN EMPTY GLASS
An empty glass
By: WAN
Like an empty glass
Lying on grass
Waiting for someone
Who will cover it from the sun,
Longing for the sky
to cry
Like an empty glass
I long for the water
To fill up my life with trust
For now, I feel my life is over
Losing my only child
And the man of my life
I regretted those times
When I’m still full with water
I stupidly spent my life
And thought will always find a clover
But now that I lost my treasures
That I just took for granted, now, can’t find any cure
My life is like an empty glass
Longing for my treasures’ touch
How can I make the clouds cry for me?
For just one minute, cry with me
And now my life is over
I cannot find any clover
