What a Curious Case of Us
I see a little purple tree
And standing next to it is me
I have new colours in my hair
And sitting in a yellow chair
Beside me is a greener you
With brighter versons of a blue
The smiles upon our faces there
Are better than the autumn air
Here we sit
Contentedly
Bright colours
Painting quietly
Across the open sky
Right here just you and I
A bird of mauve is flying by
Across the open ty-dye sky
Your painting portraits of the scene
I think it needs a little green
Maybe a splash of orange too
Oh I know! It needs more of you!
