Don't leave me
I stand outside and wait for you
You say "Tyler get in the car"
"Daddy aren't you coming?" I say
You get down on one knee so that you are at my level and say "No son your gonna go live with your mother without me"
"Daddy why aren't you coming with?"
"Tyler your mom and i just need some time apart"
"I wanna stay with you"
"You can't son"
"Why not?" Im crying now
"Just get in the car Tyler"
Theres anger in your voice
I sit on the ground and declare that im not going anywhere
"Tyler come on honey" My mom says from the car
"No! I want to stay with my daddy!"
You pick me up and drag me to the car and strap me into my seat
"Goodbye Tyler"
You whisper as you close the door.
And i am driven of to my new home a place i now know as hell

Sad poem but you really captured the emotion, the upset and sadness is very well portrayed in this poem. You could really connect with the child.Josie.
