I'll save my self from sinking
You walked in the door in time to see,
all i am, shredded on the floor, my heart lying right in front of me,
i cant keep going, living this lie,
all the while knowing,
what i need to do to repair my broken light,
all i need to do to end this fight,
but in a fight where the only punch  i throw is at my self,
who do i go to talk to, where do i get help,
in a river so deep, with these bricks tied to my feet,
i'll strain myself to death trying not to sink,
and with the rain pouring on to my head,
the only thing that lets me know im not yet dead,
i muster the strength to pick my self off the ground,
to continue looking for what i still haven't found

It is only with the heart that one see's rightly; What's essential is invisible to the eye.
