Hands Down
If breath-taking held a contest,
you would be the hands-down winner,
if loving you were against the commandments,
i'd be the most blasphmeous of sinners,
if time slowed down everytime i thought of you,
my heartbeat would be the only thing that ever moved,
and if it turned out you didnt really exist,
id want to sit forever in your imaginary mist,
no one's presences effects me quite like your's,
you to me is what the ocean is to the shore,
not a moment in time my soul isn't screaming,
for the sight of your eye's and there beautiful gleam,
if my tears could end your deepest fear and coldest shiver,
i'd let them stream down my face and cry you a river,
and should time ever run out with out my hand in your hand,
i'd go down as the worlds unhappiest man,
so i'll hold you in my arms until my heart gives out,
and when its does it'll be for you for that there is no doubt

awesome. I played a board game once called "hands down" it actually had little plastic paddles for hands. But I digress. this poem was a suprise...in it's meaning and images. this one digs deep into one's psyche and says so much. I really love this one. Keep up the great work.

It is only with the heart that one see's rightly; What's essential is invisible to the eye.
