Dreaming through Nightmares
3:25 a.m.

Bolt upright, scared in bed
Awoken by the unkown demoms rushing round my head
For when in bed, i'm lead
Far away from angels,
Towards the land of dead.

3:30 a.m.

Eyes open wide, but horror keeps me blind
A spirit watching over us has come to freeze my mind.
Lye still as my body’s tightening
Eyes flicker fast as lightening
I stare out with my eyes tight shut
I feel it's cut
The fear I feel is heightening

3:35a.m.

Fight or flight takes my brain
Must block this pain for they want me insane
Evil is glimmering
My bedroom's a prison
Ssshhh Listen!!
Listen to the devil sing

The voices,
The voices,

They sing hymns
in unison
Praising Hypnosis

Feverishly exclaiming,
"Sleep is an en-trance!"

"We see you Trick-e take your stance"

Dreams are Battlegrounds

My ears are filled with crying sounds

Deep inside my hart beat pounds

Dis-embodied
Apparitions now appearing

Satin's heard sneering

In between worlds
Have unseen holds

Even the strongest of wills
Who dare tempt devils
Eventually succumb
To deprived
Horror thrills
On paranormal levels

3:50a.m.

Re-awken, my bodies shaking
I'm shaken!
But!
But!
I've not been taken,

My sense of self ,
Saved
Staved off disaster

For I can Dream
Yes I cam Dream
And not make Dreams my master

I'm a little averse to horror, but this one is fine. You play the intensity well. A nightmare has intensity. While it lasted it was tough, but you wake up and realize it was just a dream. The vision has fled. Good work.
