Nesting

Nesting

With your face nested softly

Into the curve of my neck

My desire for dream fades.

With your breath soft on my shoulder

I have no need for sleep.

Tonight in our dark bedroom

I am blessed with your hibernation.

The room stretches out across forever

And we expand to contain each other

In deafening silence.

Great poem - I really liked the last stanza - This is my favorite line: The room stretches out across forever. Beautifully written : ) Thanks Jaydean.
