Excerpt from the unfinished Monstrosity
"Please... won't you come closer..." the sickly ill man whispered in a rash voice.
His lover, the woman of his dreams silently shook her head, tears streaming down her fingers that were tightly pressed around her mouth.
"... please... why won't you come closer..." the man slowly, slowly cried, turning into a large outfit of crying.
The woman hurried out the door, her cries audible from outside.
Screaming and shouting, the man thrashed about in the small apartment, knocking over anything and everything, smashing walls with no control.
He thought of suicide, perhaps a knife to the heart or a dose of unnecessary pills, but he tried before, but to no avail, for he was immortal. He even had the priest resurrect a cross and crucify him, but every time a nail punctured his skin, it would quickly pop right out of it, as if it were made of some elastic material.
There was nothing left for him, nothing here on Earth could heal the suffering this man endured for the past three months. He would have to continue to unwillingly live for eons, possibly longer.
Soon, he realized there was no point in tears, he was no longer human, his emotions would no longer be valid. All he was was a mere carcass of his previous life.
The man erected himself off of the skin and blood covered floor, his face frozen in time. In no time at all, the thing was gone, the only sound made in the apartment, was the shattering of glass.
