Shadow
T here is a shadow
dancing on my wall
sometimes fat and short
sometimes thin and tall

There is a shadow
hiding in the shade
unseen yet hostile
scared but unafraid

There I cast my shadow
amongst the stones and trees
in defiance of the sun
yet bowing on it's knees

Once there was a shadow
who trailed my every path
when the sun shone bright
he was my aftermath

I liked this. But to me it seemed like you cut it short. I think maybe one or two more verses would close this poem better. Still, good work.
