Will You...
Will you remember the time that you spent,
Abandon, forsake those lost thoughts?
The emotions they drain you, yet you indulge,
In this web that you have so sought,
Life is so fortunate, yet we forget,
Behind our woven facade,
We cry out day and night to ourselves,
Wondering why we are not God,
Will you abandon your own methods,
Will you forsake your hurt?
So you lost your innocence,
Got what you did not deserve,
You could chase down your ambitions,
You could lock in, lock in tight,
Be self satisfying because of your own heart,
That still doesn't make you right,
We become our own monsters,
We attack them with such hate,
In the end we realize we are just like them,
We live and reflect what makes us so irate.

Synopsis
My sister had some bad experiences with abuse in my family, as a result she left home quite bitter. She's over it now, but I wrote this when all that was going on.
A Word from the Writer
For my sister.
