All My Life I was Trash

To abstract for me,
To see my fortitude,
I wrap myself in my stresses,
Remembering in my solitude,
I look upon what I once was,
To exact a colored portrait,
How it affects my outlook now,
Only I can touch it,
What does it take,
To change the world that crashed?
I can't stand alone now,
All my life I was trash,
My vision blurred,
Now they wonder why it's so crooked,
They were all so solid,
Only when you were looking,
Now as I break through it all,
The hype, the stereotype,
I can stand sound on overcome,
The fruit itself is ripe.

In Him we are strong. He is our true father and His love knows no bounds. I know where you are coming from. It was explained to me this week that worthlessness comes from selfishness. If we believe that Christ loved us so much that He thinks we were worth dying for then who are we to question it? Our judgment is not better than His so therefore accept His love and KNOW that you are loved and worth everything to God the father and His beloved son Jesus. It is all that matters.

Synopsis
I lived in a family that verbally abused me, even physically abused me. As a result I went into drugs, ran away from home, and eventually had a kid when I was 16. I gave my life to Christ and made him my Lord and Savior. I started to live as the Bible says to live but always dealt with the echoing words that came from my abusive father. I felt worthless. This poem kinda summarizes this struggle.
