You Gave Me So Much to Dream
I think humans are extremely intelligent and fascinating
As being one of them
maybe not the greatest kind though
I see the reason why someone invented snorkeling tools and such
every time I dive in the shallow tropical water with my goggles
Underwater world is too beautiful
to leave when one is out of breath
to submerge
to miss out
Underwater world almost makes me believe mermaids really exist
Fish are designed perfectly to swim
Shells opens with their perfect hinges
Lobsters and shrimps got their perfect accordion tails
I have been convinced
must have gotten ideas after inspired
by those fascinating creatures from nature
to create each little things we see everyday

We have come very far from where we came from
and we might have gone too very far from where we should have stayed
Technology became race
serving to whom, who are to be served
Science without moral is a disaster
Music without message makes no noise
Poetry...without heart is just a collection of words
It kind of reminds me
of chaotic kitchen in a restaurant during rush hour
Old waiter throws a curse word on Ceaser Salad while serving
New waiter is being asked to rinse off lemon wedges to be reused
Busboys keep bringing plates with full of leftover
as chef trims off the rotten part of sirloin steak
to make it look
as delicious as possible

We don't know what we are eating
bowl of contradiction
menu obligation
excess tipping to hypocrites
And there is nothing we could do about this
without immunity we are most likely to die
with immunity we are most likely to get killed
I think it is very hard to be
animal activists
Jehovah's Witness
or Muslims these days
because whatever we consume is deeply contaminated
Though humans are intelligent enough to distinguish
lure from fish
ketchup from blood
We can only create things
to make them work for us
I think that is why
humans are fascinating, trying to be God
almost perfect, but never ever we will be
We have so much to dream

I wonder how life would be so different
for an ordinary person like me
to swim in a pool
full of whipping cream
I wonder which tool is the most useful
goggle? mask? Or fins?
I might as well come up with new idea
of something
I have so much to dream
every single fascinating day of my life

This was a deep, perplexing poem. I liked the parts about snorkling underwater.

writing SUKIE
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference
---The serenity prayer

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us---Roman5: 1-5
