RED

Most of the time
like a cigarette break 'round midnight
like a firefly texting on the porch
Call occupants of the universe
attracting creepy creatures
crawl on the ground

Sometimes
like a night of Gala at Opera House
like a glass of wine
sparkling
Feel glamorous
traveling down
to the stage
Word after word,
line after line,
play Chinese characters
Long silk dress rips
sounds sorrowful
like Stradivarius
Then ears of the blind
catch notes and imagine melody
like the deaf does

But everyday
like Cinderella with a broom,
a bloom to the ball
waiting, wanting to be picked up by
pumpkin faith to turn
a glass shoe salvation
the only one ticket to
I BELONG TO YOU
Hate smoke
No iphone
Alcohol, barely torelated
No silk dress
No Stradivarius
Just sitting here by ashes of my past
of illegal dumping
where everybody thinks
carbon emission of own
is green and clean
Then open your heart
next to me
tomb empty
joy you see
kind of glory

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference
---The serenity prayer

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us---Roman5: 1-5
