From The Tresure Chest
    I didn't look for this, but it's just one of those things that often happens to me......I found this accidentally when I was cleaning in drawers. It says;

    'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask you forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.  We know your Word says, "Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.  We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.  We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.  We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.  We have killed our unborn and called it choice.  We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.  We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.  We have abused power and called it politics.  We have conveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.  We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.  We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.  Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free.  Amen.

Someone who wrote this already prayed for us.  All I had to say was, "God, we are so sorry."

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference
---The serenity prayer

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us---Roman5: 1-5

A Word from the Writer
Please note that this is someone's prayer and I thought it's good to share even if it might be a little painful to hear and might not be well-accepted by everyone.
