Poem for Oscar
Ten years ago, you took my hand To help me learn and understand How important you have been Without you, life would be obscene
As I've aged, our passion's grown Thanks to you, I'll never be alone So here we sit; a handsome pair My soul is always yours to bare
For whenever you sit next to me I'm filled with your sweet ecstasy As we touch, my feelings paint Pictures vibrant, never faint
Amongst our work and love and leisure You've gifted me with a priceless treasure Remember I'll love you to no end Thank you, my piano, my friend.
