....The Sound of You

…the sound of you

I hear voices rumbling through the night air,

But I am only searching for a certain sound.

My ears and mind strain to hear that sound.

I’m so lost without that sound.

Tears stain my cheeks,

With every thought of you.

My heart beats, but it beats in vain

As I remember everything about you.

And I, Oh I miss the sound of you!

That longing touches every part of you, and you also remember every part of her. I like how you tell that. This poem is similar to my poem "The Body Remembers".
