Humor in Poetry.

                        Sweet Desire.

How could I let it happen
                   I feel such a dope
                   I’m tied to the headboard
                   With Laffy Taffy Rope

                   My little Bit-O-Honey
                   With his Reese’s Whipps
                   Gave me Hershey’s Kisses
                   On my Caramel Nips

To me he’s my Big Hunk
                   I love him every day
                   He calls me Baby Ruth
                   To get his Milky Way

                   He gave me Almond Joy
                   On my Lucky Charms
                   Slipping off my Snickers
When I couldn’t move my arms

He did me Good & Plenty
Knows how to treat the ladies
                   Didn't wear his Whatchamacallits
                   Now we have Sugar Babies

                   I should've taken the lead
When he latched onto my Whoppers
And gave him a Charleston Chew
                   On his Everlasting Gobstoppers

I’m just one of his Pop Tarts
But he sets my heart on fire
When he calls for his Fun Dip
                   I'm filled with sweet desire
