haiku

unforgiving grass
tricycle lays on its side
Mother’s gentle kiss

 hungry white gulls watch
fish cleaned at the waters edge
crimson waves recede

reflecting blue sky
the thunderstorm has passed over
fresh water puddles

clleaning last years fields
horizon a string of flame
sun wrapped in blue plumes

mule deer climb the hill
home bound geese stitch the dark sky
the air smells of snow

yellow onions hang
tied with cord from the rafters
rows of empty white planters

I am inspired enough by what you have written to try haiku for myself. Please look over my first attempts and let me know what you think.
