For All The World To See

Being naked don't bother me but never
let me be stripped for all the world to see,
let me hide all my scars with flowing robe
made of stars

This robe I wore, so long and  warm made
me feel secure, I felt nothing of the life I
surely must endure

This cover held my soul in bonds and
could not set me free, it could not hide
the troubled part that hide inside of me

Then in early morn one day..or was it
late at night, my robe was snatched away from
me for all the world to see

That night I found my place in faith
and my Lord, he met my every need..
and as my rags were torn away and tatters
fell to the ground my heart leaped with many
joys as I heard the trumpets sound

Now I'm standing naked, stripped of all my pride,
come and see what secrets that I hide inside,
for all the world to see
Jesus' blood is all I have..It's all that covers me.
