Creative Spark
Catching life on a limb
further exaggeration
I shall paint my mind
and show these colors on a blimp.

For the painter paints,
strokes of madness
vicious violent streaks
I dipped my brush in Red.

Now the painter speaks,
quietly and calmly
brisking into garden
brush tips into green.

Painter grows weak,
canvas holding sturdy
hours upon tested
canvas will never cause worries.

It is reflected
like a supportive mother
forever protective
forever under.

Rest is gained
but the image isn't captured
people around me
attentive by the hour.

Moments pass
I'm still enthused
I want to dip my brush
into all the blues.

Now I'm flowing
things are smooth like water
calm and collective
my brush begins to falter.

My brief breath,
as a moments reflect
is how I look at my piece
in a whole and to me.

This piece is like my soul
as I wish it to grow
I wish to let things be viewed
as though I'm parting.

Audience is stunned
wishing for more!
But I leave
because today is captured.

Soon I paint,
and express my image
now you wait,
for my creative finish!

I really liked this write. The second stanza is amazing. :) The phrase, "This piece is like my soul/ as I wish it to grow[...]" really jumped out of me. It flowed really well. All in all, it was a great poem.
