Sweet as Spring

The summer wind blows,

bringing with it freedom sweet as spring

while the dew descends-

covering the sun kissed oval.

And sometimes when it feels right

Ill lay on the cool dew covered grass

And dream of snow.

Summer so sweet

But taken for granted

Still, like a mother for her child,

Year after year it returns

Without judgment
