Hourglass
It washes over me as tide onto shore, Colliding with the boundary of reason. These fears erode my fragile hopes Leaving only grains - Too few to build sandcastles, Too many to forget How each one might shine With the smallest ray of light. Is it my fate to dance in a spectrum of colour Or simply float away with the breeze? I'm falling through the hourglass, Just passing time.
